Saeb Eigner is Chairman of the Lonworld Group, a private investment company founded in 1992. Formerly, a Senior Manager of ANZ Grindlays Bank Plc. in London, heading the Middle East and Indian Sub-Continent divisions of the Private bank.

Saeb Eigner was appointed Chairman of the Dubai Financial Services Authority in August 2011; he served as Deputy Chairman of the Board since 2007 and a member of the Board since October 2004.

He was until 2014 a Governor at London Business School and formerly Chairman of its Audit and Risk Committee, he remains a member of its Estate Committee. He holds a Masters Degree in Management from the School. Serving on a number of Boards in the areas of investment, finance, regulation, consulting, education and the arts he is a regular speaker on business and economic affairs on television (i.e. CNN, CNBC, Bloomberg, and BBC World), radio and at business forums.

He is passionately engaged with supporting art and education, which he believes plays an increasingly important role in bridging the cultural divide, as well as improving the lives, and standards of living of people around the world.

Co-author of the management books Sand to Silicon (2002) and Sand to Silicon – Going Global (2008) and author of Art of The Middle East (Merrell, London 2010, expanded edition 2015).
