Bolder actors, innovative tools and ingenious strategies are carving a new culture of giving and social investment. A new generation of thinkers and doers of altruism are embracing models of philanthropy that are global, entrepreneurial and collaborative, in a bid to achieve measurable impact, sustainability and scale. Combined together, these embody ‘Generation Impact’.
The 2017 Philanthropreneurship Forum explored how ‘Generation Impact’ is transforming innovative thinking into concrete practices for tangible global gains. Forum delegates also discussed practical ways to scale up efficient approaches that are sprouting, in both developed and emerging markets, but often remain dispersed and isolated.
The Forum was an opportunity to debate strategies that blend the best of old and promising new systems for broader, measurable impact. It also was an opportunity to look at how to further cultivate the creativity, acumen and values of the future generation of philanthropy.
